You’ve all heard of Christmas In July I’m sure, but have you heard of Halloween In August? ScareLA which is described to be “the open-house of everything Halloween” is said to be just that! On the dates August 6th and August 7th at the Pasadena Convention Center in Los Angeles, California, be transported to a 100K sq. ft venue bestowing this year’s theme, Witches and Black Magic!
Run by a talented group of artist, creators and entrepreneurs the event has earned word of mouth by a significant portion of the horror fan population for its yearly themes exploiting the bewitching holiday. In turn the chatter in the hallways [so to speak] on this event, brought a vast number of visitors from far and wide from ages 1-100 to it! With every visitor without nothing to do and with prices steady [thats right! PLUS! Elvira is hosting! Elvira is a highly recognized 80’s horror host that is portrayed by Cassandra Peterson. The actress is known for her work in Elvira’s Movie Macabre and Elvira’s Halloween Special on MTV as well as a string of movies such as Elvira: Mistress Of The Dark, Elvira’s Haunted Hills and The Working Girls.

ScareLA opened their cobweb decorated shelves back in 2013 at “The Reef” located in downtown Los Angeles. The spooktacular event then packed up shop and currently resides in Pasadena, California in a larger venue.
