Like the idiots at my local radio station that are still playing Frosty the Snowman 10 days after X-Mas, holiday horror films keep on coming, even after their respective dates of celebration have passed. As such, it is only now that Christmas Eve thriller Body is hitting VOD.
While I haven’t seen it myself, there has been a lot of positive buzz around this otherwise low profile release. “A darkly funny and twisted journey taking place entirely on one unforgettable Christmas Eve, Body revolves around a trio of college co-eds whose dalliance with breaking-and-entering goes horribly awry. Sneaking off to a secluded mansion to party, the young girls are faced with dire choices after they unexpectedly encounter the property’s groundskeeper.”
Sounds pretty fun, and I always have been a sucker for Christmas horror movies. I think I’m going to go ahead and give it watch, even if it is January 5…. and my redneck neighbors STILL haven’t deflated their goddamn Santa Claus balloons.
