I Saw The Devil, a crime\horror thriller from South Korea, shows how good can be tempted into becoming evil. A secret agent goes after a serial killer that murdered his fiance. Director Kim Jee-woon and screen writer Hoon-jung Park brought to life this thriller. Now it’s being remade and being brought to the U.S.
The remake will be in the hands of Simon Barrett writing and Adam Wingard directing. Barrett and Wingard are known for their work on the V/H/S films and the thriller, You’re Next. There’s been no casting news yet. I think I’ll take a look at the original while I wait. For those who saw the original, what are your thoughts on this remake?
