Over the last few months EA has been dishing out delay after delay after delay from Dragon Age to Evolve. Some of them might be a week or two some like Battlefield has been pushed to the following year.
From EA Battlefield Hardline appears to have a concrete release date which is March 17th in the US and March 19th in Europe. The reason being is that after the Alpha testing they saw many ways to improve and enhance the Battlefield experience. So by pushing it back to 2015 instead of the 2014 holiday release date like they wanted, this could better their chances.
Call of Duty and Battlefield have been battling for a long time over which gamers should buy at launch (Some would get both, but not everyone can). Now that there is a big enough gap of release so players can get both without having to pick on the launch date. Now the only decision gamers have to pick now is Call of Duty or the Halo Collection.
