Be My Cat: A Film for Anne to show at Tromadance 2016

Labeled the greatest found footage film since The Blair Witch Project!
The Anne Hathaway based horror feature film Be My Cat: A Film for Anne directed by Adrian Țofei has been selected and will have its East Coast Premiere at the 2016 Tromadance Film Festival on July 30 at The Paper Box in Brooklyn, New York City.
It is Adrian Țofei’s first film and Romania’s first found footage horror movie, about a young man in Romania going to shocking extremes to convince Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway to star in his film. It premiered in the US at the 2016 Nashville Film Festival, where Adrian Țofei won the Special Jury Prize for Best Actor. The movie also won Best Film at the 2015 A Night of Horror International Film Festival in Sydney, Australia, and has been called “potentially revolutionary and dangerous” by Dread Central.
The Tromadance Film Festival is organised by Troma Entertainment, being one of the world’s most important and oldest film festivals dedicated to independent films. This is going to be the 17th edition, with Be My Cat: A Film for Anne among the four feature films selected, the other three ones being Banjo, Raiders! The Story of the Greatest Film Ever Made and Night of Something Strange. Troma Entertainment and president Lloyd Kaufman himself labeled the film a new masterpiece!

The movie’s main cast consists of actor and filmmaker Adrian Țofei and actresses Sonia Teodoriu, Florentina Hariton and Alexandra Stroe, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2015 A Night of Horror International Film Festival in Sydney.
