At E3 Sony unveiled a trailer for a new game franchise from director Hidetaka Miyazaki (Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls). So you know it is going to be tough. Anyways they only showed a brief 2 min cinematic trailer. The game had a dark atmosphere with Gothic and Victorian architecture. Rumors are floating about that is a direct sequel to the original Demon’s Souls, but it has not been confirmed yet.
The story takes place in an abandoned city called Yharnam. Yharnam was known for housing medical remedies. Your character is on a pilgrimage to make it to Yharnam and find a cure for a disease. When he arrives there the city is now overrun with people violently deranged and mutated. Nothing is what it seems in this city, monsters and deranged villagers will attack you at every corner. So be ready.
A new trailer was just released that showed some brief snippets of gameplay and more to the city of Yharnam.
