Got blood? For the 6th year now, in celebration of Women in Horror Month, the Twisted Twins, Jen and Sylvia Soska, have put out a PSA encouraging blood donation. The PSA is an anthology of short films which make the statement “If there were other ways to get blood, we wouldn’t need you”. I could go down the list of awesomely talented female horror directors, but instead I’ll just show you!
So, why donate? Well, if you start donating blood at 16 and continued to do so every 56 days until the age of 76, you would have donated over 48 gallons. Enough to potentially save over 1000 lives! Each donation, taking just about 15 minutes or so of your time, will reach someone in need within 10 days and can save up to 3 lives! So, bleed a little for TheBlood-Shed!
