Jesse LaJeunesse is a blogger and fiction author who is currently at work on a horror novel entitled the withering man. He recently posted a horror short story, “The Crumbs of Unremembered Dream.”
Told from the perspective of its monster, the story is written in the second person, a tricky approach, but one that LaJeunesse applies cleverly. Normally, second person stories seem to be written to “whom it may concern,” or to an assumed everyman, but here the implied listener is a definite individual and a vital component of the narrative.
We love horror in all its forms here at The Blood Shed, so come here to read up on movies, video games, music and more, and check out our Facebook page!
