Dead Rising, the film adaptation of the video game series, is in the works. Zach Lipovsky, director of Leprechaun: Origins, will be directing. Tim Carter will write the script with Tomas Harian serving as producer. Content Media Corp. will be distributing the project as feature length and episodes. Dennis Haybert, of 24 and The Unit has been casted. No other casting news has been announced.
I’m a huge fan of zombie media. The first Dead Rising game was a blast. I’m curious to see how the film treatment plays out. I wonder if the movie will stay true to the game’s story line. I wonder who else will be cast for this movie. I hope Haysbert will be slaying some zombies. He was a force to be reckoned with on The Unit. I’m pretty sure he can handle some zombies. I’m intrigued by this project. I can’t wait until the carnage starts.
