Yes, you heard that right. Paul Feig announced on Twitter that he is making a new Ghostbusters film and will have ‘hilarious women’ as his cast members.
Katie Dippold whom directed the comedy film ‘The Heat’ will also be a co-director for Ghostbusters. While the cast is unknown at this time, many are speculating this is exactly what the reboot needs. If they were to have all male ghostbusters again, then the viewers would constantly be comparing the new cast to the old one. With an all-female cast the chances of this are far less likely since it’s a fresh, new spin on the franchise.
Of course, Bill Murray will probably make a cameo of some sort in the film… that’s just to be expected.
