I’m a big fan of Herschel Gordon Lewis, having written reviews of a number of his films on The Shed, so it is with greatest pleasure that I found out Arrow Video is releasing a boxset of the Godfather of Gore’s finest films, many in HD for the first time. Two editions of the set will be released, but the one I have my eye on is the $221 dollar set, limited to just 500 copies. Yeah, the set probably costs more than the budget of the films themselves, but for fans of the original schlock and grime, it just might be worth it.
