Last week at Gamescom 2014, a special interactive trailer demo was released known as P.T. which was then revealed to be “Silent Hills”. This demo was exclusive to PS4 and might be on the Xbox One in time. Director of the P.T. demo Hideo Kojima, explained something that a lot of people were questioning. What is 7780s Studio?
It is actually a fake developer with a hidden message. In the Japanese language, Kojima explains that the sequence 7780s is actually another way of saying “Silent Hills”.7780 is also the post code of the Shizukoa region in Japan, which then translates roughly to “Quiet Hills”. That region was then nicknamed Silent Hill in its native country.
It seems each day we are discovering new information about the “Silent Hills” demo and it makes the game look like the best cryptic message games ever made!
