Let this be a lesson to tourists everywhere; when your guide says young white people have a tendency to be horribly murdered at the local waterfall, don’t go to the damn waterfall. Alas the protagonists of Indigenous (releasing to Video on Demand December 8th) ignore this warning, and lo and behold, flesh eating monsters start to attack.
Directed by Alastair Orr and starring Zachary Soetenga, Lindsey McKeon, and Sofia Pernas, Indigenous is just the type of film I love. Watching stupid tourists being slaughtered just never gets old. We saw it earlier this year with The Green Inferno, and I’d hate to miss another opportunity to enjoy one of my favorite sub genres. And besides, what better way is there to celebrate the holidays than blood thirsty cave people?
