Remember the good old days. Oh, not very far back anyway, a dozen years at the most. At the time when, every Halloween, we were entitled to a new Saw movie.
If the first Saw was nevertheless super good, original and innovative on certain aspects, one cannot say as much of its consequences, with rare exceptions. Where the first film was only a small series B very clever, the sequel soon turned into a big franchise well-disguised based torture-porn complaisant, in total disregard for any consistency of its scenario. And we defy anyone to summarize the general history in a paragraph. It was necessary that Paranormal Activity come out and pick up everything in its furrow so that the annual carnage ends at the end of the 7th film.
Yet Saw will come back. Even that it will resume its good old habits since the new episode will be released on the American screens on October 27th. Entitled Saw Legacy, the film does not hesitate to make its mysterious big to swell the hype well and it must be a true event when it will be released on our screens. Clearly, it is already turned and we know nothing of its history. Suite, reboot, prequel, remake, everything is still possible at the moment.
In Saw II, Jigsaw leaves a clue to his location at the scene of a game. The success of this franchise has led to companies such as Occult creating Saw movie games. Online casinos such as Casino Australia also offer something related to this kind of games. One of its famous blockbuster movies include Terminator.
But there comes a time when we must know how to let go of the slack to remember our good memory. This is how the site Variety has unveiled the names of the first two actresses who will suffer the worst outrages of the Jigsaw. It is no surprise that we discover that these are not headliners because in this case it is Laura Vandervoort and Hannah Anderson who will find themselves trapped. The first one was seen in Bitten and Supergirl while the second shared the poster with Christina Ricci in Lizzie Borden took an Ax.
It’s little, but that’s already it. Let us remember that the film will be directed by the Spierig brothers (Daybreakers forever in our hearts) and that we are still looking forward to seeing what they will do with their style.
