As I have posted in past years – I love Monsterpalooza and Son of Monsterpalooza! These annual and iconic horror conventions are so amazing, and bring out the best of the best in the world of horror!
There will be over 150 vendors as usual and these are the best dark artists you will ever see gathered in one place. In my home office, I have only a small amount of art from some of these outstanding artists, but I always find a new piece or two each visit.
The makeup demos from some of the greats in the industry give me hours of joy, just watching them. As a SFX artist myself, watching them transform their models into monsters is the best experience ever!
Celebrity guests from the horror world are everywhere! This year Dario Argento is the person I am excited about, but if you go on the Son Of Monsterpalooza website, you will see how many greats will be there this year!
Don’t miss all the special presentations like listening to Rick Baker talk about his 50 years of make-up artistry, fun exhibits, immersive haunted walkthroughs, the costume contest and SO MUCH MORE!
Also not to be missed are the horror film screenings, including Strange Nature, and the anxiously waited for Candy Corn from Josh Hasty! There is literally something for each and every horror fan!
