I cannot believe my cousin (Roy Rose) is making history! We shared this dream since we were kids! To see him making his own dreams come true, and knowing we have always had so much in common, more like brothers than cousins, it makes me feel like all the struggles were not in vain! You’ve come a long, long way Cuz!!
Roy certainly deserves acknowledgment for his ambition and his vision. I can’t wait to book a trip once the renovations are complete!
That would be sweet if it was up and running in October…..it would make a great getaway for my Halloween birthday!!!
Wow, This is really awesome. It may be time for a road trip this summer. I definitely want to check this out.
This is going to be an amazing venue! Thank you for giving all of us ladies in burlesque the opportunity to come out, tour and be the bloody best and celebrate! Congratulations! I will definitely stay in touch. We have a few great horrific and metal burlesque troops here in Dallas! Thank you, this is definitleygonna be killer\M/

I think it should be based strictly on The TCM cast and crew have the statues of the characters throughout the areas especially Gunner Hanson and the original cast members their the ones who made it famous. Also would be a great memorial for the cast members who have passed away.
Drove by there last weekend. Saw the van and the “No Trespassing” sign’s. Was very happy to see it cleaned up since the last time I checked it out in July. I think it would be an incredible place to watch the movie someday. Godspeed!

My gf and I are TCM (horror) fanatics! We tried going to the old restaurant at the TCM house but it was closed, which was a total bummer! This would be an amazing trip to make up for it and would put me in her good graces for a while and it’s not a long way from home either! Cheers Roy!

Mr.Rose, Great idea…lets get Ed (Neal) to jump on board…best known as the “hitchhiker” from the original TCM. I did photography work for him on a couple occasions & he’s local (Austin). I have his contact information. Wish you much success & so glad to see this vision coming to life! S-
Amazing, Roy you are now a hero in horror. Get ready for endless lovin’ for the rest of your life. You will never, ever, ever regret this – consider your life totally changed. Ari – excellent work, and perfect ideas for the place! Could really help the town too, I’m sure you’re already working with that idea, clever guy 😉
Fucking amazing! I have been living 20 minutes from the location since 1996 and have driven by there every chance I get ever since. It has been sad to see how run down it has gotten the last few years. This is amazing news. My family and I will be there for sure.
My brother in law said he would make the trip from Albuquerque just to see it. He has leatherface tattooed on his calf so I think he is a fan.
To all of you slasher freaks out there, I totally get where you are coming from! I was told about this landmark when I moved here a year ago. We built our home on 5 acres off 304 to get away from the city. So don’t be surprised if you face opposition from all sides. The traffic, litter, and drunk driving that comes with this type of attraction only moves the city closer to the country. We pay outrageous taxes to live out here, and this will bring down our property values. Cool idea, but not in my backyard!
