Eli Roth has made quite an impact on the horror genre. He shocked us with his Hostel series. He’s shown us that there’s something far more dangerous in the woods with the Cabin Fever films. Now, he’s about to tackle another project. He’s going to actually remake the first Cabin Fever movie.
It’s been reported that Roth will use the original script. Travis Zariwny is set to direct, with Roth serving as executive producer. Gage Golightly, Dustin Ingram, Samuel Davis, Matthew Daddario, and Nadine Crocker have signed on to star. It’s not clear what roles these actors will be playing. I’m intrigued as to this approach. I wonder if there will be any twists, or will Roth do a shot for shot remake? Horror fans, what’s your take on this news?
