The Strain, a TV series about a virus that turned people into rabid vampires, debuted on the FX Network. It was based on a novel series written by Chuck Hogan and Guillermo Del Toro. The first season just finished wrapping up. The release date for the DVD and Blu-Ray has been released. You pick up either the DVD or Blu-Ray on December 2nd.
The new release will feature three featurettes. I was a fan of the show. I haven’t read the book, but would like to someday. I’m not sure if I’ll buy the first season or wait and buy the whole series as a box set. To all the horror fans, what did you think of the show? Are you planning to buy the DVD or Blu-Ray?
