Not too long after Insidious: Chapter 2 hit theaters, a third film was expectedly announced. This time around though, instead of James Wan, the director will be Leigh Whannell, who wrote the screenplay of the first two films in the series. Not too much about the plot is known at this time, other than it will obviously be following different characters and will not feature Rose Byrne or Patrick Wilson. However, Lin Shaye appears to be making an appearance in this one.
The release date is set for summer 2015.
