Ready to cheat death? Sony’s remaking the 1990’s classic Flatliners with Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton and Kiersey Clemens with Kiefer Sutherland’s return. The remake will be directed by Neils Arden Oplev (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), written by Ben Ripley and produced by Laurence Mark and Michael Douglas.
Recently added to the cast is supermodel Charlotte McKinney. You probably know her for her viral Carl’s Jr. Super Bowl Ad. Her role in the flick will be [according to Deadline] that of a nurse in “…a funny sex scene involving a nurse (McKinney) and a medical student in the film.”.
The original film starred Keifer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon, Oliver Platt, and Julia Roberts. And followed the story of a group of medical students conducting experiments where they would purposely die and come back to life to study near death experiences.
Look for the remake in theaters August 18th, 2017.
