Oh, satire. How I love your way of making intelligent observations entertaining. With a corrupt church of pedophile priests, con artists, and millionaire fear mongers, Jesus has, apparently, had enough and returned from the dead once more. And he’s mad. And he’s hungry. For human flesh. You know, normal stuff like that.
Written by Sam Miserendino and with art by Colin Blanton, the comic sees Jesus go around, committing creative murders in typical slasher style and paraphrasing Bible verses. The art is phenomenal. It’s bloody, it’s whacky, and some poor sap without a sense of humor is going to be offended. Isn’t life grand?
