The Pinbacker scenes from the end of Sunshine (2007). Holy fuck, was he scary. I was unable to find a video of the scenes I was looking for, but this image does him justice somewhat. A burned, firey-ass dude taking his revenge on the remaining crew of the spaceship.

Ah yes, the dreaded “wheelers” from Return to Oz (1985). Who in their right mind thought these horrendously-scary things were children appropriate? Also, wtf was with the queen who could easily decapitate herself and change heads?

Let’s face it, Willy Wonka from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) was kind of a creepy dude. And in this particular scene, he really freaks you out. It’s like some crazy Twilight Zone shit that makes your head hurt.

The baby scene from Trainspotting (1996) is one horrifying moment. And later, when he’s lying in bed trying to become sober and hallucinates the dead baby, it really gets under your skin.

Mulholland Dr (2001) is definitely one mind-fuck of a film, and this scene right here is there to prove it. I remember when I first watched this film, how uncomfortable this scene made me feel.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Yet I somehow repressed this scary ass scene from my memory.. probably because it was so traumatizing my mind purposely blocked it out.

How in the world can such a silly movie have such a terrifying scene in it? The makers of Pee Wee’s Big Adventure (1985) only know the answer to that question.

This scene in Zodiac (2007) scared me more than any of the murder scenes featured in the film. Brilliantly done.

These two scenes in Signs (2002) scared the living crap out of me as a kid. I still consider the birthday party scene to be one of the scariest jump scenes out there.
